The Radiant Child, Jean-Michel Basquiat's works will be displayed at the Gagosian Gallery in New York. Basquiat was a forerunner and a driving force of the graffiti and street art movement. He became an acclaimed Neo-expressionist and Primitivist painter by the 1980s. Today his art is held in the highest regard and has inspired many artists across multiple genres including poetry, film, and music. Opening on February 7, the works on show include the illustrious 1985 collaboration Olympic Rings between Basquiat and Andy Warhol.
