Redman and EPMD, once known as the Hit Squad, were, with Pusha T, the headliners for the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival.

From July 10th to 13th, the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival was held at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, featuring many acts as you can see on the flyer above.

Apparently, the Redman performance "was the shit"  according to Neil, one of our fellow Campus Mercante teamster. And from what I've seen on the live stream, I second that comment.

But one of the coolest moment was when the Hit Squad was momentarily reunited to perform the 1992 classic "Handbanger":

XXL has, by the way, an interesting list of the 9 best moments of the fest.

So next year, save the date, a lil bit of cash (tickets started at 20$ this year) and go celebrate Hip-Hop in Brooklyn.
