Atlanta-based artist Brian Dettmer carves pages of a book, one page at a time, utilizing knives, tweezers and surgical tools. Each layer is exposed while cutting around certain ideas and images of interest.
The work is completely authentic, no additional images were implanted, only removed. The images and ideas that he reveals are used to expose alternate histories and memories.
