California-based artist Sean Sullivan creates Grand Pale Maw, a mural which covers an entire hallway wall at the Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) gallery.

The ability to draw well is amazing in its self, but drawing a mural using nothing but a sharpie completely surpasses the idea of a pretty picture. He was given three months to finish but exceeded the timeline by four months, completing or as he put it, "threw in the towel," in November 2011. The amount of detail put in to the mural has been described as "breathtaking." The mural features fallen trees, branches, and even a whale. All in all, a sight to see!
