In recent weeks we have seen many (maybe too many) responses to Kendrick Lamar's controversial verse on Big Sean's "Control". From Joel Ortiz to Papoose and even Kevin Hart (lol). We finally get the chance to hear what a young artist from the streets of Brooklyn thinks about K. Dot's claim to be "King Of New York".
Here's Kendrick's verse (as if you haven't already heard it enough):
In the new track released today by the New Era artist Joey Badass entitled "Killuminati 2", produced by Knxwledge, the Brooklyn native takes some direct shots at Kendrick, saying "It's nathan [nothing] all I gotta do is just spit a flame/No escaping/You in a swimming pool of champagne/You set yourself up for that one mane/The king of New York,' huh?/We ain't just gonna let that one hang."
