I took a look at this controversial video today and am not entirely sure how I feel about it. It's interesting and the concept is pretty solid. It seems the video is implying that music shouldn't continue moving to different platforms or that an EDM DJ isn't as important or relevant as a "rockstar". Maybe because of the vast difference between live instrumental performance and computer generated sound? I think Rolling Stone is placing a lot of importance on playing an instrument rather than playing pre-made music. I think most party-going people in their early-to-mid-twenties would beg to differ... but take a look at the video and let us know what you guys think:
