It's that time of the year again! The excitement for South By Southwest (March 7th - March 16th) is at an all time high and we're sure you either have or will be hearing a lot of buzz about it. Below are some good ideas suggested by doNYC on how to spend your week at SXSW.

WEDNESDAY
- A beautiful merger of two do's brings La Femme, Syd Arthur, and Juan Wauters to this indoor/outdoor show.

- Looking for some good vibes and chill music? Then hit up this showcase, with performances by James Supercave, Quiet Life, Them Vibes, and many more. Free with RSVP.

WHERE TO EAT (BREAKFAST): TACODELI
- An Austin tradition and do512's reigning breakfast taco champion. It's a must-do, so why waste time?

THURSDAY
- This lineup is unbelievable: Cloud Nothings, Fucked Up, Perfect Pussy, EMA and so much more. Free with RSVP.

- One of Thursday's best shows takes place on a boat! Featuring WaveRadio, the YAWPERS, Dave Gutter, and a whole bunch of other awesome artists. Free with RSVP.

WHERE TO EAT: SVANTE'S STUFFED BURGERS
- When in Austin, you gotta hit the food trucks, and Svante's is a must-have for any hungry traveler. We're all about decadence here at doNYC -- and after a full day of shows, you deserve a burger stuffed with bacon and cheese. Just follow the Willie Nelson sign to paradise.

FRIDAY
- Wet, Connan Mockasin, Phantogram are all on this bill at House of Vans. Free with RSVP.

- Food! Drinks! Music! America! Performances by 7 Days of Funk (aka Snoop Dogg and Dâm-Funk), Sza, Vic Mensa, and a super secret guest! Free with RSVP! 21+! Wow!

WHERE TO EAT: PELON'S TEX-MEX
- Friday is chock full of quality shows, so we don't want to pull you to far away from the action for dinner. Pelon's is right at 8th & Red River and sports a solid patio dining experience.

SATURDAY
- The Black Lips, Gary Numan, and Brooklyn's Spires (who we interviewed this year) play a massive party with complimentary bud light. 21+.

EVENING SHOW: CHILDISH GAMBINO
- Childish Gambino. For free. Yup.

NIGHT SHOW: THE DICKIES ROADHOUSE SATURDAY SHOWCASE
Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden has a great vibe -- and after a few days of absolute raging, this outdoor hang should be just about perfect -- and we'll feel right at home with a DJ set by The Knocks.
WHERE TO EAT: THE VEGAN YACHT
- Just because we're in Austin doesn't mean we can't be vegan-friendly (and you may also want to save your heartburn for the Banger's saugage). The Vegan Yacht features all natural everything and is run by a totally rad husband/wife team. Pick up a button to remember them by!

SUNDAY

DAY SHOW: THE MAD TIGER FESTIVAL
- Ummm.. so, do512, Chicken Ranch and Peelander-Z! are throwing a party?
- Close out your SXSW with this appropriately-named showcase that features opener Benny and boasts HUGE surprise artists (and everyone knows that surprises are the best).

WHERE TO EAT: SALT LICK BBQ
- Lineups are a little less crazy on Sunday, giving you ample opportunity to make the 30 minute excursion to this world-famous BBQ. Hop in a friend's car and BYOB!
