The Whitney Museum's Sinister Pop exhibit is taking the public's fascination with pop art and exposing an unknown sect of the genre.  Andy Warhol and other visual artists' more popular pieces are known to be playful but there is a darker side to pop art. The Whitney's brilliant compilation of pieces that are not recognizably pop art, show a different side of the style that is so widely appreciated. The exhibit is being shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art through March 31st. Be sure to check it out!
