Joe Black, an artist from London, creates massive murals of iconic and historic figures using thousands of tiny objects.
Each of Black's pieces features interesting components, from the faces they portray to the material he uses. Each with it's own significance.
For instance, on one of his latest pieces, he utilizes approximately 11,000 tiny, hand-painted action figures to construct of mural of US President Barack Obama. The piece, titled Shoot to Kill, references the order to kill Osama Bin Laden. Black says, "The stark black and white soldiers could indicate the ethos of good and evil, or right and wrong that is embedded in America's dealings with Eastern nations."
