Brooklyn based art duo Faile have just finished a stunning mural on the building of the historic Record Plant recording studio.
Faile was previously featured on our blog for their work for the NYC Ballet.  They have been gaining plenty of attention and acclaim for their collage like vintage themed street art. The team worked with Colossal Media to complete this project in Hell's Kitchen New York.

321 West 44th Street is the original location of the Record Plant, a recording studio used by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Bruce Springstein, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder, Kiss, Aerosmith, and Cyndi Lauper to name a few. The mural is a tribute to the building's rich musical history.

  1. Hi, I'm Jéssica from the Museum of Image and Sound of São Paulo, Brazil, we are editing a video about the places where John Lennon spent/visit in NYC. The video will be on a TV and the photo will appear for 15 seconds at the exhibition John Lennon in NYC by Bob Gruen. I would like to ask for an authorization to include the sixth photo of Record plant in the video with the due credits. Thank you!
