Painter Erika Pochybova-Johnson creates these intricate paintings of trees which burst to life in the trees roots. Representing the vibrancy of the spirit within, these paintings are a lesson to us not to judge a book by its cover, or a tree by its leaves (or lack thereof in this case). The intricate shapes and colors create an underground wonderland that can be looked at and explored for hours. The magic beneath the surface is a reminder that there is always more than meets the eye.
