Syrian born artists Tammam Azzam has found a way to protest against his
country's current government and their failure to intervene with the
constant strife. His work ranges from digital renditions to 3 story
murals of famous paintings. The pieces are being shown in galleries all
over the world, including Art Basel Miami and the Ayyam Gallery in
Damascus. Each piece has it's own symbolic meaning. The artist uses the
crumbling wall of a bullet pierced building as a canvas for Gustav
Klimt's romantic piece, "The Kiss".
