Justin Gershenson-Gates, aka A Mechanical Mind, an artist from Chicago, uses small gears, springs, and other parts from watches to build tiny steampunk insects.
The small bugs are miniature in size but take several hours for the artist to complete. The look of these little robots look like something out of a science fiction thriller, but still give off a sense of "cuteness".
A number of Gershenson-Gates' mechanical insect sculptures are available to purchase through his Etsy shop.
