With the release of the BMW I8 comes a newly designed key to go with it.
The BMW I8 is designed to be one first mass produced plug in hybrids from BMW. What is particularly interesting about this is the key that you will own if you purchase one of these from the dealership. It features a high resolution LED display as well as the range your car may currently travel and the current charge level of the car.
The new key also boasts the ability to turn your air conditioning system
on in the car before you enter it. Based on information from BMW you
also have a cool spot for your key in the center console of the car. The
I8 is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2014. Check out how the new I8 looks in the pictures below.
